Auctioneer Michael Hoffman attends 65th International Auctioneers Conference and Show
Auctioneer Michael Hoffman of Michael Hoffman & Associates in Pickerington, Ohio, joined his fellow auctioneers from across the world at the National Auctioneers Association’s (NAA) 65th International Auctioneers Conference and Show at the Galt Hotel in downtown Louisville, KY, July 8th-12th, 2014.
Michael Hoffman has been involved in the auction industry for over 13 years and specializes in real estate auctions. Hoffman believes that the Conference is a premier way that Auctioneers gain valuable education and business connections that help them to be successful leaders in their communities.
Among dozens of educational seminars, highlights included: 15-hour USPAP training for personal property appraisals, technology changes for the auction industry, etc. Additionally, attendees took advantage of the opportunity to network with their fellow auctioneers from around the globe.
Along with industry-leading education, the annual Conference and Show also featured several exciting auction competitions. This year, the NAA celebrated the 26th anniversary of the International Auctioneer Championship (IAC) competition, which crowns the world’s top male and female bid callers. The annual conference also included the world’s largest auction tradeshow, which provided a large, engaged consumer base. In fact, more than 900 auction professionals attended the 2014 event, making it the largest Conference and Show since 2013.
